By ordering the stampin' Up! Kraft boxes and adding a little DSP and accessories these little boxes turn into the cutest gift packaging. Stampin' Up! is offering many different sizes of these boxes.

We will be creating this fun Summer Time layout using bright summer colors.  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point and Whisper White.  We will use circle punches, Bright Blossoms stamp set and Brights buttons for embellishments. I will supply everything you need to make this page and most items will be cut and ready for you to assemble.

Scrapbook club is available for visitors for $15 per layout and free for members with a $25 order.  Please contact me for more info at gemeny@aledobb.com.

June 7th Card Class in Weatherford/Aledo area
Two Times available:  11 am - 1 pm and 7pm - 9pm

The first card for this month is a Father's Day card using the new In-Color Midnight Muse with Chocolate chip. We will be adding ribbon, brads and pop ups to make this card really stand out.

The next card is a birthday card that I have made using the DSP brights collection paper pack.  You have two options in colors, both using Pacific Point and Whisper White for background colors.

Come to class and you will get a FREE copy of the new catalog and be able to view the new In-Colors.  We will be using the new Firm Foam ink pads for both cards. I can say enough about these new ink pads, they are awesome!!

Card class meets the first Thursday of every month and offers two separate times.  The class includes three cards of your choice for $10 + $2 for each additional card.  First three cards are free with any $25 order.  All supplies are included.

Please RSVP to me at gemeny@aledobb.com to ensure enough supplies for everyone.

***Sign up to follow my blog.  Anyone who signs up now thru the end of June will be entered into a drawing for 2 FREE ink pads of your color choice***

Save the date for Friday June 29th at 7PM for my first Mom and Me scrapbook class.  We will have fun with photo booths and create a special page for you to take home! More details coming soon.

All Things Stampin -- Everywhere

Along with this new love of all things stampin and scrapbooking, I have accumulated lots and lots of goodies. I love all my new goodies, but need to come up with a way to store them.  I decided that this weekend I really wanted to focus on getting my paper sorted and stored. I have an office where things can be stored, but I love working in the dinning room where I am still in the middle of the family. I sure would not want to miss anything!

This turned into several trips to several different stores and several purchases that will have to be returned this week. Not Fun. My first stop was Office Max to pick up a rolly cart that would fit my 12x12 paper.  A friend showed me her system and it works great for her. I wanted to try it out, so I bought the cart, but they do not stock the hanging folders.  Next stop, Michaels to buy the 12x12 hanging folders. I get everything home and the folders are not the right size to fit the cart. Next, I spent about an hour online looking for a solution.  I thought I found one at Joanns. So off I go only to find out that the folders did not fit that either.

My final solution, for now, was to purchase this iris paper holder. Not a perfect solution for sure. But will work for now until my paper stock grows.

I sorted my paper creating a drawer for subtles, neutrals, brights, regals, in colors and DSP.  I then sorted each set and placed scraps (smaller pieces in ziplocks), 81/2x11, and 12x12 stacked and dividers placed between each color.

I can now go to a color and know exatcly how many of each color I have.  The purpose of this whole project was reached. At least It was on sale at 40% off and I had a $5 coupon off that total.

During all this searching online for the perfect storage items, I came along the best design for inkpad holder! Rebel Inker created a shelf for all the inkpads and it only costs about $6. check out this website...  http://rebelinker.blogspot.com/2007/10/inkpad-holder-for-6.html

This is definately my next project! What a great idea and the plans are even listed! I have added her blog to my favorites so that later I can really search all her great ideas. Only one project per weekend!

One Sheet Wonders

Oh My! I just discovered One Sheet Wonders.  Look what I accomplished today.

All these projects from two sheets of the Twitterpated DSP from Stampin' Up.  I found a great template online by

Kimberley Morris, procrastistamper@gmail.com   and tried it out today.  I ended up making 16 cards from two sheets of DSP, cardstock and embellishments.  It was so much fun and I was able to start building up my stash of cards.   Now to start picking three cards for my next card club. Maybe one of these will be one?
